Collin Moore is an experienced Exploration Geologist with a demonstrated history of quality geologic work in the oil & energy industry since October 2018. Collin’s expertise lies in exploration across multiple oil regions in Texas including the Permian Basin, North Texas, and Central Texas ventures. He possesses experience in subsurface geologic mapping, petrophysics, geotechnical, data harvesting, LMKR Geographix, SMT Kingdom, PhdWin, and has worked alongside multiple disciplines.

Before branching out as an Exploration Geologist, Collin worked as a Logging and Wellsite Geologist, where he gained field experience in Central/North Texas & Permian Basin. He has also worked as an Intern Geologist at QEP Resources, where he assessed the resource production potential in by-passed zones in the Permian Basin and existing wells Southern Wyoming.

Collin holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he was an active member of AAPG ULL Student Chapter and LGS (Lafayette Geological Society). He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from Sam Houston State University, where he was an active member of SHAGS (Sam Houston Association of Geological Students).

In addition to his work in the industry, Collin is also an active member of the Oil Information Library of Fort Worth, where he serves as a President/Board Member and a Board Member.
