Tony Gossett
Operations Director
Mr. Gossett is a petroleum engineering professional with over 30 years of experience, specializing in exploration and development operations. He has managed operations and engineering for various oil and gas companies, including Forestar Oil and Gas, where he oversaw all phases of operations such as drilling, completion, production, work-overs, and facility design. His career began with Getty Oil Company and spans a wide range of basins, including Texas, Midcontinent, Gulf Coast, Rockies, Appalachian, and Illinois.
His leadership roles include managing Forestar’s $160M acquisition of Credo Petroleum, overseeing a $1.38B development project in Oklahoma, and leading the $606M acquisition and development of Permian Basin assets for Sage Hills Energy, LLC.
Mr. Gossett holds a Bachelor of Science in Minerals Engineering with a focus on Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alabama. He has also completed postgraduate coursework in Computer Science, Machine Learning, and Theology. He remains active in numerous professional organizations.
