Randy Ragan brings over two decades of oil and gas expertise to his role as Senior Vice President at Kroh Exploration. Raised in Hereford, Texas—just outside the Permian Basin—Randy’s West Texas roots run deep. He studied Business Development at West Texas State University in Canyon, laying the foundation for what would become a powerhouse career in energy.

Randy entered the oil and gas industry in 2001, launching his journey in Dallas, Texas. Over the past 24 years, he has played a pivotal role in growing four successful companies, establishing himself as a respected leader known for driving performance and building high-performing teams.

In 2012, Randy met JB Yowell while working at Yohawk Energy, sparking a professional relationship built on shared values and vision. That connection came full circle when Randy joined Kroh Exploration in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a relentless drive for results.

Randy is proud to be part of the Kroh team, where he continues to do what he does best—lead, grow, and deliver. As he puts it, “I’ve been in this game a long time, but I’ve never been more energized. I’m thrilled to be at Kroh.”
